 The students in the Senegal go to USAS during summer to work maximum in hotels, restaurants, parks of entertainment, and for a length from 3 to 4 months. This recognised program by the Department of American State, allows them not only to benefit from a temporary work permit but also to discover the United States and to ameliorate their level of English.
Practice
This program is planned and worked out with care to give chances to the students to capitalize useful experiments in their future professional career. In The Senegal, practice takes place in general in cities but also practice is available in country middle in touch with chosen domain. The opportunities of training period are available with ONG, and government-owned firms or private firms.
We also send students for practice remunerated in USAS (Management, Engineering, Education), in the United Kingdom (Tourism and Hotel business). For other countries (Western Africa, Europe, Canada) practice is not remunerated. The interest of such program of study domiciles in its impact on the conflict against poverty, problems of unemployment and social and occupational insertion of the young persons, as well in their country of origin as abroad.
